SalemCTSeniors is an organization in Salem, Connecticut for anyone over the age of 50. We meet once a month to discuss what we can do to help our community, and by doing so, help ourselves as well. Our monthly meetings bring Seniors out of their homes for a chance to meet others, chat and enjoy themselves and share lunch. We also gather twice a month for a discounted lunch (subsidized by the town of Salem) at Two Brothers restaurant. We have an annual summer picnic at the Sna-Z-Spot on Gardner Lake. We have a group, the Salem Senior Striders, that leads hikes around the region. And the Uncas Health nurse comes to most of our monthly meetings to provide blood pressure checks. This list goes on and on. Annual dues are $10/person, payable at the January meeting.
